Installation Guide for Windows | ![]() ![]() |
This section describes how to install MATLAB on a client system running Windows in a local client access configuration. See Local Client Access Configuration for information about this type of installation.
The installation procedure on a client system is almost identical to the procedure on a server; however, there are some differences. For example, in a client installation, you do not install the license manager. This table lists all the steps in the network installation procedure and notes where they are different on client systems. For more detailed information about any of the steps, go to the description of the step in Overview of Steps in Network Installation Procedure.
